On October 8, 2005 a massive earthquake occurred at 8:50 am, Pakistan Standard Time. It registered 7.6 on the Richter Scale making it a major earthquake. Since then more than 80,000 have been confirmed dead and millions remain homeless.
This website has been created as a part of the ongoing relief effort for the victims and survivors of the deadly disaster. Launched within 24 hours of the disaster, the initial aim of this volunteer-run website was to collect funds.
